We truly believe that nothing is too difficult for God (Mark 10:27). We believe that He is able to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We also know that God is infinite in wisdom and infinite in power, and that He hears and responds to the prayers of His children.

Continued prayers for my father, John, who had a hemorrhagic stroke in the basal ganglia early Monday morning. The bleed has stopped and he was moved down to inpatient rehab center on Wednesday afternoon. It will be a long and difficult road to recovery but have seen the prayers of friends and family work to get him this far. Hope and pray he will be able to continue to recover and to see God work in all of our lives during this time. Praise be to God!

Prayers for our oldest son who is about to turn 21 and truly believes that he knows all of the answers. He struggles to keep a job, to make wise decisions, and to find good friends. I pray that he would remember the values and love of Christ he was raised with, that he would find men that can feed into his life and help guide him to resist the abundance of temptations that come when you are living on your own in this crazy culture.

My friend just sent this to me:

"Our almost 12 year old niece is in the hospital. They don't know what's wrong, but she's paralyzed from the waist down. They couldn't get an iv in her to work so they just put a stent into her heart this morning to get steroids in faster. Can you please pray and ask whoever else wants to pray to pray, please?"

A few days ago my dad, Don, was given 1-2 months to live due a brain tumor that has returned after surgery, radiation and chemo treatment. I'm praying for healing. He is a believer. I know and trust God will bring peace if healing does not come, but I want to recognize Him as the God who heals and call on His name over my dad's health.
